Every pro is checked before their first job

You’re letting someone into your home. We take that seriously, and we stay accountable after they leave.

ID check

Every pro’s photo ID is checked before they join, whatever their trade.

Public liability insurance

Every pro must be insured, so you’re covered if anything is damaged.

Gas Safe registration

Required for any gas work, and checked on the official register.

NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA

Required for electrical work, so it can be signed off properly.

Plumbing qualifications

Recognised plumbing certificates, plus G3 for unvented hot water cylinders.

Re-checked on expiry

Pros stop getting jobs the day a document runs out, until they upload a new one.
Carpenters have their ID and insurance checked. Gas Safe and NICEIC registration only apply to gas and electrical work.

The Relay Guarantee

Report a problem up to 30 days after the job and we’ll make it right. That might mean sending a pro back, a refund, or paying for repairs.
